Steps to use an espresso coffee machine
The very first step that needs to be done is to fill the espresso machine with the adequate amount of water required to make an excellent coffee. As soon as the correct proportions of water is added in the machine, it is time to turn on the espresso machine. The user should wait for a few minutes in order to let the heater light point out that the machine water has been properly heated to its perfect temperature that is just below the actual boiling point.
Now the user can conveniently place the coffee into the machine basket and then compress it down. The excellent coffee to be used in the espresso machine is the one which has been grounded freshly. After grinding the coffee, the volatile oils that were earlier secured by the beans are now exposed in the air, which ultimately oxidize the coffee thereby making it a bit stale. Unluckily, this happens instantly when the coffee has been severely ground. So, it is highly crucial to tamp and take out the espresso coffee as early as possible. While the user is grinding the coffee beans, it is essential to preheat the group head for a few seconds by turning the pump on. Then the user must remove the portafilter along with dumping the espresso out and then wiping the machine basket with the help of a dry and clean towel. By carrying on the process of basket wiping, the user is actually preventing the water to find a platform of least resistance thereby contributing in ensuring the smooth espresso extraction.
Now the port filter needs to be installed in the espresso coffee machine by twisting and placing a cup below the spout. Then the user can turn the valve of the machine to the position of espresso. This will in turn engage the small switch to a pressure of about 15 atmospheres. This great pressure then forces the water via the ground coffee and ultimately out from the spout. A great espresso machine will require approximately 25 seconds in order to produce the one and a half ounces of coffee espresso.
Then the user requires to put back the switch into its middle position in order to froth and steam milk for preparing the latte. A coffee contained needs to be placed with a small quantity of milk under its steam wand. The valve thereafter requires to be positioned thereby energizing the resistive heater. In case the user wishes to have some froth, the nozzle has to be held near to the milk surface and then you can enjoy the brilliant taste of your coffee.
Of course for great espresso coffee it is essential that you use:
1. A quality Espressp Machine
2. A quality Grinder
3. Fresh, good quality beans.
